SCANNING GATE MICROSCOPY OF A GaInAs QUANTUM RING. Images are taken at 4.2 K in a magnetic field of 2 T. The image on the left gives the tapping-mode topography of the ring. The image on the right is a filtered conductance map of the ring taken as a function of the polarized tip position
